Specialized Ceramic Workshops
2 -5 day courses are presented by a potter with 25 years experience.
These classes are the ideal opportunity to brush up on specific skills or learn new techniques.
Some of the subjects covered are wheel throwing, decorating with slips, smoke-firing, mould-making, paper clay and raku.
Classes are suitable for beginners or experienced potters.
Open classes are more freely structured for the student who wants freedom to touch up in various areas. Projects made in class are taken home but it are the responsibility of the attendee to organize transport after firing.
Bring an apron and towel.
Tools and all materials will be supplied.
All ceramic holidays are participating workshops.
(Lunch is included).
Rediscover Creativity through Ceramics
(3 days)
Through clay, participants rediscover and explore their creativity.
These workshops are focused on spontaneity and are suitable for both beginners (even those who feel intimidated by the art thing) or more advanced artists who want to let their inner child out to play.
These workshops include a Raku firing.
Participants take 3 – 5 projects home.
(The course-goers must organize transport for fired wares)
All you have to bring is an apron and a towel, and lots of enthusiasm/willingness to explore your own boundaries.
